Eddie Redmayne has married Hannah Bagshawe in a winter wonderland-themed ceremony, according to a new report.
The British actor married fiancée Hannah Bagshawe at the Babington House in Somerset, England Monday evening, reports US Weekly.
According to the outlet, the theme of the affair was “Winter Wonderland”, with the bride walking down the aisle under candlelight.
The couple have been together nearly three years, with Eddie, 32, proposing just last May.
"He had been planning on it for awhile," an insider told the outlet at the time. "They have a very relaxed and supportive relationship… they seemed to have always known they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.”
Eddie’s career as exploded in recent years, with his recent performance in The Theory of Everything, as English theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, garnering critical acclaim.
The role led to a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, as well as a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama.
After hearing of the Golden Globe Award nod last week, Eddie admitted Hannah was the first person he told the good news, calling the mention “the most wonderful thing”.
“When we first started working on this film... we all felt such a sense of privilege, but also a great sense of responsibility because we were depicting these extraordinary people,” he told People.com.
A spokesperson for the star had not commented on reports of the wedding at press time.
