Redmayne's post wedding flight

Eddie Redmayne has been spotted with his wife Hannah Bagshawe for the first time since they got married, leaving Heathrow Airport.

The 32-year-old Theory of Everything star married his love on December 15, and the couple has seemingly been in hiding since their big day. But they finally emerged to catch a flight together out of the London landing spot on Friday.

The newlyweds could perhaps have been headed out for a belated honeymoon. Otherwise, Los Angeles may be their next stop as Eddie is nominated for a Golden Globe Award at next weekend's ceremony.

The actor, responsible for portraying the legendary Stephen Hawking, was rugged up in a bulky black padded jacket and casual jeans. Hannah sported a chic scarf over a winter chic ensemble, pulling her brunette locks into an up-do for their flight.

The last time they were photographed was on their wedding day, which took place at Babington House in Somerset, England. Eddie’s rep told E! News they had “celebrated with a small number of close family and friends”.

The nuptials came seven months after their engagement was announced in May 2014. Prior to that, Eddie and Hannah had been dating since early 2012, and it seems the actor was very much ready to tie the knot.

"I can't wait to be married,” he told E! before the big day. "The plan is a winter wedding. We're in the thick of that at the moment. You only get one shot arranging a wedding, so we're doing our best. We've planned this long in advance, so it's the most wonderful thing."

It’s been a big year for the British star, whose portrayal of the celebrated physicist was released to the world. He recently told UK newspaper The Independent what a big deal the role was to him.

"I fought hard to try and get the part, so there must have been something in me that said this is a dream part,” he said. “The second I got it, there was an instant euphoria, followed by, like, a punch in the stomach, a fear: it felt like a part that was such an amazing opportunity but could also cause so much offence."
