Reedus talks ‘pathetic’ Walking Dead cast
Norman Reedus admits he and his Walking Dead co-stars miss each other tremendously when they’re not filming together.
The 45-year-old actor portrays Daryl Dixon in the hit AMC zombie series.
And when the show is not filming, Norman reveals his co-stars check up on each other frequently.
"It's kind of like, 'Hey guys, I miss you!'" laughed to Access Hollywood. "It's sort of pathetic. It's, 'What are you guys doing? How are you?' … We really like each other so it's constantly like, 'What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing?'"
The Walking Dead episode Coda aired on November 30, the fifth season’s mid-season finale.
Norman admits he doesn’t know what to do with himself when he’s not on set.
"Take a vacation? Watch football?" he pondered about how to fill his free time. "I don't really watch football either, but I will! I'll watch football and I'll take a vacation."
The American star has steadily been working in front of the camera since the late '90s.
But Norman recently noted it was only after he won the role of redneck Daryl in the smash hit zombie show he really started to get noticed.
"I was definitely becoming a little down on it, but I don't know if I was going to give it up [on acting]," Norman told the American addition of GQ magazine. "But I wasn't enjoying it as much, to be honest."
The Walking Dead’s fifth season, which also stars Andrew Lincoln, Lauren Cohan and Danai Gurira, begins broadcasting again in the US on February 8.
