Reese Witherspoon has to "pull [herself] together" when she goes shopping with her children.
The Hollywood star has two kids - 12-year-old Ava and Deacon, eight - and is believed to be expecting her third child but has yet to confirm the pregnancy.
Reese often struggles not to spend a fortune on her family when they go shopping together.
"I'm only extravagant when it comes to my kids. I love to spoil them," she is quoted as saying to German TV station Tele 5. "I would love to buy them a lot of stuff they don't need. In a toy shop I have to really pull myself together and stop myself. Otherwise I will raise kids who believe they have a right to anything they want."
Although the 36-year-old actress is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Reese finds it difficult to choose movie roles.
The beauty never accepts a project until she has given it a great deal of thought and often wishes she could be more impulsive.
"It takes ages until I say yes to a part," she explained. "I read everything over and over again and then I meet at least three times with the director. No, I'm not really decisive."
