Reese Witherspoon has apparently been joking her newborn son is "destined for showbusiness".
The actress and her husband, talent agent Jim Toth, welcomed baby Tennessee James into the world at the end of September. The couple have reportedly joked that the name they have given their son is guaranteed to make him stand out from the crowd should he pursue a Hollywood career.
"She and Jim are over the moon," a friend revealed to British magazine Closer. "They have been joking that with a name like Tennessee Toth, he's destined for showbusiness!"
The 36-year-old Legally Blonde star also raises daughter Ava, 13 and Deacon, eight, from her previous marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe. Reese has reportedly been relying on her teenage daughter as well as her own mother in looking after the family's new arrival.
"Ava is chief babysitter and is really bonding with Tennessee - who they are calling, 'Tenny'," the friend continued. "And her mom has moved in for a bit to help out."
