Renée Zellweger's 'homecoming romance'
Renée Zellweger has never felt as comfortable with a man as she does with Doyle Bramhall II, say friends.
The Oscar-winning star is best known for playing the hapless Bridget Jones, who's quest for love made her one of cinema's best loved characters.
In real life Renée has had her fair share of unlucky in love moments, including a failed marriage to Kenny Chesney, but friends now say her new man Doyle Bramhall II has made her the happiest she's ever been.
Sources close to the Cold Mountain star reveal that Renée was even fretting life had almost "passed her by".
"She has never felt so comfortable with a guy. They have so much history. She says she feels like she's come home," an insider gushed to the American edition of OK! magazine.
The pair originally met as students at the university of Texas at Austin in the '90s, and reconnected in the summer of 2012.
Doyle is a musician and proud father to the daughter he has with his ex-wife Susannah Melvoin. His paternal instincts have even reportedly led to 45-year-old Renée wanting to adopt with him.
"Renée has been surrounded by fake showbiz people for a long time, so she took a few years to focus on her personal life - and it's paid off," the source added.
"She's been searching for inner happiness and her dreams of having a family are coming true."
While Renée hasn't made a film since 2010, friends say that she's content with how life is right now and is enjoying how happy Doyle makes her.
