Four-year-old Republic of Ireland fan Adam Wynne from Tullamore is a seriously talented snooker player in waiting.

He appeared on German TV over the weekend on a show called 'Klein gegen Gross' (or Little vs Big) and he did his country proud.

Firstly, he beat former German international Arne Friedrich in a snooker competition.

That in itself was a huge achievement considering the pressure of performing on live TV, but he also used the opportunity to remind the German nation that Ireland beat the world champions at the Aviva Stadium in October.

After Adam told the interviewer that Tullamore was most famous for whiskey, the conversation turned to football and asked Adam about the recent Ireland/Germany match.

Adam becomes very visibly excited at the memory, and almost begins to relive Shane Long's amazing goal.

Although it's a little hard to decipher what he is saying he can be heard saying "Ireland kicked the ball up to the top corner again".

What a little legend he is.
