Richard E Grant visits Game of Thrones' dark hedges amid speculation over his Season 6 role

Is there a new character in Game of Thrones?

As speculation grows about the contents of the long-awaited Season 6 - actor Richard E Grant has been enjoying tours of Northern Ireland as he lends his hand to the new Tourism Ireland campaign.

On Wednesday morning he took a trip to the now infamous Dark Hedges which is synonymous with the HBO series.

It has been reported that the actor will appear in the highly-anticipated Season 6 as it was spotted that the show was added to his agency CV.

His role has not been disclosed.

The Season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones airs on April 24 at 2am in the UK to coincide with the broadcast of the show in the US.
