Richards ‘furious’ with Sheen over school scandal
Denise Richards is reportedly furious with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen for issuing a call to arms on his Twitter page against his daughter Sam’s former school over a year-old bullying controversy.
The Anger Management star issued a call to arms on his Twitter page this week against his nine-year-old daughter Sam’s former elementary educational institution, Viewpoint School in Calabasas, California.
TMZ reported that Sam was “teased mercilessly about her skin, her looks, her hair, and even Charlie getting fired from Two and a Half Men.”
Charlie invited his Twitter followers to smear “dog s**t” over the walls of the school in retaliation, even though Sam hasn’t been a pupil there for a year.
“Denise is absolutely furious with Charlie for going public with a family matter involving their daughter,” a source told Radar Online.
“Yes, Sam was bullied at Viewpoint and that’s why she no longer goes there, her sister Lola was also pulled out of the school — but, Denise does not think that’s something that should be blasted around the world by Charlie.”
Denise apparently had three meetings at the school, in the Calabasas area of Los Angeles, but the alleged bully’s parents insisted Sam was lying.
Denise worries Sam may be bullied once again for Charlie’s puerile behaviour.
“Denise was very upset by the school’s decision to not take harsher action against the bully, however, both Sam and Lola are in a new school now and doing so much better. The only thing Charlie’s ranting did was bring this issue back up, risking Sam’s happiness at her new school,” the source said.
“Denise is a protective mother bear to say the least – and her first priority is always the safety and well being of her three girls. She knows Charlie’s heart was in the right place but unfortunately, when he acts like a child there are consequences that ripple down to their kids.”
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Viewpoint has beefed up security, even getting the police involved, to prevent people from smearing poop across the campus.
