Ricky Gervais reckons he might need to change some of his jokes now that he has lost some weight.
The funnyman has lost around 20 pounds since he and long-term girlfriend Jane Fallon moved to Hampstead Heath and took up jogging, and claims he needs to cross out any fat jokes from his scripts.
"Now I've got to stop making jokes about fat people, which is annoying - when I was fat, it was OK," he told People.
Ricky, who is currently on screen in An Idiot Abroad with Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington, wanted to get a fitter and trimmer figure.
"It wasn't so much about the weight. It was more that I was a fat, lazy, out of shape slob, to be honest," he admitted.
"I didn't eat differently. I probably just stopped having that second meal at 11:30 at night."
Jane shed around 18 pounds after cooking up healthier versions of their favourite foods.
"I was trying to lose weight as well, so I was cooking healthier versions of what we were eating. He didn't realise that I was probably feeding him less calories at the same time he was running," she said.
