Ricky Martin is reportedly going to guest star in Glee as a new Spanish teacher.
The Livin' La Vida Loca singer will join the award-winning musical show as "the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio" according to TVLine.com.
Ricky appeared to confirm the news on Twitter, writing: "I hear McKinley high has an opening for a Spanish teacher... Maybe I'll apply."
He will apparently be seen teaching at William McKinley High School in an episode to air in January and will star in two big musical numbers.
The 39-year-old singer - who worked as an actor on US soap General Hospital for two years in the 90s - is due to begin rehearsals in New York in the new year for his role as Che in the Broadway revival of Evita, opening in April 2012.
Previous guest stars on Glee have included Gwyneth Paltrow as substitute teacher Holly Holiday and Britney Spears as herself.
