Rihanna's dad Ronald Fenty approves of a potential reconciliation with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
The pair split after Chris attacked Rihanna years ago.
Ronald appears to have forgiven the 23-year-old for assaulting his daughter in 2009.
"I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn't be held to them forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. There's a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows," the patriarch told InTouch Weekly.
Chris is now a single man since dumping his girlfriend Karrueche Tran earlier this week.
The Run It! crooner admitted his "friendship" with Rihanna was partially to blame.
Ronald is happy to welcome him back into the family.
"I love Chris, man. He's got so much charisma," he explained.
"He's always had so much respect for me. That's what I love about him.
"I know they love each other. They always have. She's happiest when she's around him, and as long as she's happy, I am happy and the whole world should be too."
Rihanna and Chris have been seen together several times already this week.
The former couple stepped out at Jay-Z's concert in Brooklyn on Wednesday evening - the same day he was seen leaving her hotel.
