Rihanna's father is hoping she will spend Christmas with Chris Brown.
The pair split in 2009 after he violently assaulted her but are recently thought to have rekindled their romance.
Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty has been open about his support for Chris in the past and has now claimed he wants to see the R&B star over the festive period.
"I'm hoping I will see him for Christmas. I know Robyn [Rihanna's real name] is coming home for Christmas, so I'm hoping that I will see Chris too," he told Heat magazine.
Rihanna and Ronald have a strained relationship as he battled drug addiction when she was growing up.
He is adamant fans should give Chris another chance as he has changed over the last few years. He was ordered to undergo counselling when convicted of the attack and was also sentenced to community service.
"I have no problem with Chris getting back together with Robyn," he added. "I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn't be held onto forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. I know they love each other. They always have. She's happiest when she's around him and as long as she's happy, I'm happy."
