Rihanna's trust in Hamilton

Published 16/08/2015

Lewis Hamilton reportedly couldn’t keep his eyes off Rihanna during the carnival weekend in Barbados.

The singer has been rumoured to be dating the Formula 1 ace for a number of weeks. The pair partied together earlier this month during carnival weekend in Rihanna's native Barbados, and a source believes things are getting serious.

“It’s a big deal for Rihanna to take a guy home to her family and friends,” a source told British magazine Star. “They are the most important people in her life and she really cares what they think. But she trusts Lewis.”

Lewis split from on-off girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger in February. Since then he has been linked to Kendall Jenner but the insider added that his friendship with Rihanna goes back years.

The couple have reportedly grown closer in recent months and allegedly spent a romantic weekend together in New York two weeks ago.

The 27-year-old wasn’t afraid to be photographed with Lewis during carnival weekend, known as Crop Over. The pair were seen dancing on a float next to each other while Rihanna wore a traditional outfit of bum flashing knickers and a revealing embellished bra. She also wore a headdress adorned with feathers and jewels. It seems the 30-year-old was more than impressed with her attire.

“Lewis couldn’t keep his eyes off Rihanna throughout the day,” the insider continued. “He looked pretty smitten.”

Both stars took to social media to share their excitement for the weekend too.

“Barbados, we ready!! #Islandlife #Carnival2015 (sic)” he wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile Rihanna shared a snap of her outfit with the caption: “#barbados #cropover2015 (sic)”.
