Rob Kardashian ‘agrees to rehab’
Rob Kardashian is reportedly considering rehab after pressure from his family.
It has been claimed recently that the reality star and sock designer is struggling with a drug problem. He has also gained a lot of weight in the last year and his family are keen for him to receive treatment. While he tweeted in May that he didn’t believe in therapy of any kind, it seems he has had a change of heart.
“He’s looking at Bridges to Recovery,” an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly, referring to a Beverly Hills residential treatment centre which caters to those suffering from mental health and addiction problems. “Rob says he’s ready to take the first step and he really wants to go. He’s never said that before, so everyone thinks it’s a good sign.”
The 27-year-old had allegedly turned to food, drugs and alcohol to deal with his crippling depression. It has raised concerns among his family, including sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé and mother Kris Jenner. In a clip from the family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the matriarch was shown getting upset over her son’s situation.
“I want to fix Rob,” the 58-year-old admitted in the clip. “I have not, not cried myself to sleep in so long that I don’t even know what that’s like.”
Kim has also stood up for her younger brother recently. After his ex-girlfriend Adrienne Bailon gave an interview about her relationship with Rob, the 33-year-old took to Twitter to blast her for talking negatively about her sibling during such a tough time in his life.
"So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever" she tweeted on July 30.
