Robbie Williams: Barlow is strong

Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams says Gary Barlow is "so together", despite the tragedy he has recently faced.

Gary and his wife Dawn were left heartbroken after their daughter Poppy was stillborn last month.

Robbie, who is expecting his first child with his wife Ayda Field, admires the way his Take That bandmate is coping.

"He has the ability to put things in compartments. But this is the most testing thing he's ever had to go through, I'm sure," Robbie told British newspaper The Sun.

"It's the heaviest, heaviest thing, and, like I say, Gaz is so together. We'll sit down and have a proper chat at some point but so far it hasn't happened."

Ayda and Robbie's baby is due any day, and the singer says his wife has handled the pregnancy well so far.

"She got diabetes through [the pregnancy], so she's had to watch her diet. But she has been absolutely f**king amazing, because I know that hormones get the best of people," the 38-year-old marvelled.

"She could have been all shapes of crazy but she's not. Life is very stable, but very stable is not what I've always sought. I know you've got to get the balance right but I doubt that I ever will."

Gemini:

Someone will steal credit for your work, which is maddening. Drawing attention to the problem will only make you look petty. You're better off accepting the situation with quiet dignity and grace. Move on to the next assignment, but make sure to sign your name to every piece of work that is submitted. Tell your boss what you are doing on a regular basis. You'll sound like a pest, but at least it's better than getting stabbed in the back.More
