Robbie Williams convinced wife to act out lesbian fling for pop video
Robbie Williams has debuted his new music video, which has three alternate endings.
British popstar Robbie Williams convinced his wife Ayda Field to kiss another woman to spice up his new music video.
Ayda, 37, appeared as a panellist on British TV discussion show Loose Women, on Wednesday (01Mar17) and treated viewers to a premiere of a promotional film for her husband's latest track Mixed Signals.
Unusually there are three versions of Robbie's music video, which depicts him as a jealous husband worried his absent wife may have lost interest in him, each with alternate endings.
The version the former Days of Our Lives actress introduced on Loose Women ends with her kissing the actress playing Robbie's wife, as part of a steamy lesbian affair.
Revealing to the audience it was Robbie's idea to get her to act out a same-sex fling Ayda said, "It was my husband's idea, not mine! He was taking me through the video, and he was like, 'So I'm married', and I was like, 'Oh that's a fun part for me!' But he was like, 'That's not you'."
She added, "He said, 'In one ending, you'll be making out a with a really hot model.'"
Robbie debuted another version of the video, showing his onscreen wife returning to his bed, on his YouTube account on Tuesday (28Feb17). Fans are yet to get a look at the third alternate ending.
In January (17) a Los Angeles judge dismissed a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against the Rock DJ singer and his wife by their former personal assistant Gilles De Bonfilhs.
In his lawsuit Gilles, who the couple dismissed in January 2015, had claimed that Ayda caused him distress by walking around naked and boasting about her sex life, allegations they called "despicable lies".
