Robbie's drug admission
Robbie Williams says he was high on cannabis “two days ago”.
The singer says although he takes the drug, he is in control of himself and doesn’t let things get out of hand.
According to Robbie, his child is the reason he doesn't go too far.
“The last time I got high was two days ago,” he told UK newspaper The Mirror.
Robbie is married to actress Ayda Field, and they have a daughter called Theodore Rose.
The former Take That singer credits Theodore with making him take life more seriously and grow up.
“Since the birth of Theo I’ve become less reckless,” Robbie said. “I last drank 13 years ago, the last time I got high was two days ago. No big drug sessions, mind, just a small amount, purely to relax.”
The pop star goes on to explain that looking after a baby forces him to be unselfish. He also insists he would never do anything to put his family in danger.
“I’m allowed to go crazy once in a while, just as long as I don’t lose control. I have to be there to take care of my daughter, right? That is the good thing – by putting responsibility on my shoulders she is also taking care of me,” Robbie said.
The musician says having a kid has changed his outlook on life. According to the hitmaker, little Theodore has brought joy into his life.
“She’s only one now and can stand a little bit. She takes about three steps and then decides she prefers crawling,” Robbie gushed. “Thanks to her there is always laughter in the house. Only this morning we were dancing together when I played 90s rap and house. She has great rhythm.”
