Robert Pattinson has reportedly been giving Katy Perry plenty of support since her split with Russell Brand.
The Twilight actor has apparently been contacting the singer every day to make sure she is coping with the breakdown of her marriage.
However, the interaction between them is not said to be romantic - but just him being a good pal.
"Rob has been texting and calling Katy every day," a source told Us Weekly.
"He's just checking in on her. It's not romantic at all. They're friends."
Robert is close friends with Katy's best friend Shannon Howard.
The Firework star's loved ones are also keeping a close eye on Katy at the moment following reports that her ex has already been linked to other women.
"All Katy's friends are concerned about how she's dealing with it," another insider said. "Katy is doing amazing. She is over Russell and feels like she's been set free. Her hair may be blue, but she isn't!"
Robert's three-year relationship with Kristen Stewart is "still going strong," another source said.
