Robert Pattinson is reportedly "asking strangers to keep him company."
The actor was heartbroken last week when his long-term girlfriend Kristen Stewart, 22, publicly apologised to him for cheating with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41.
Robert has since moved out of his formerly shared home with Kristen and the pair have not been speaking to each other.
The Cosmopolis star is said to be passing his time in the presence of other ladies.
"Robert has resorted to asking strangers out to keep him company," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"He went out for drinks with a woman staying in his hotel and he told her it was 'ridiculous' he had nobody to talk to."
When Robert is not dining with strangers he is entertaining himself through other means.
"He's been spending most of his days off playing computer games," the source revealed.
In the statement of apology Kristen released Wednesday, the actress declared Robert to be "the person I love and respect the most."
The star is rumoured to be in shambles over the way her indiscretion has impacted her beau.
Director Rupert shares two children with his wife model Liberty Ross.
