Robert Pattinson 'misses Kristen'

Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson misses the simple moments he shared with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

The Twilight stars called time on their romance earlier this year, following a difficult time which saw Kristen admit to having an affair.

Although Robert has been linked to women including Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough, he is still said to be dreaming of a future with his ex.

"He misses every day things like taking their dogs to the beach - last time round, Rob thought he would spend the rest of his life with Kristen so it was never going to be a totally easy break," an insider told the British edition of Heat magazine.

It's thought Robert and Riley are just friends who have bonded over their shared love of music.

Previously he was linked to Katy Perry, with the pair going on several dates before she rekindled her romance with John Mayer.

It's not thought Robert and Katy were ever an exclusive item, but when she got back together with John, the British hunk was upset enough to reach out to Kristen.

"Rob contacted Kristen when things ended with Katy and now they're texting regularly and speaking a couple of time a week," the insider explained.
