Robert Pattinson 'to reunite with Stewart'

Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart "will be a couple again", it has been claimed.

The actor's friends reportedly expect the Twilight stars to rekindle their romance. Robert and Kristen have been the subject of increased speculation that they could be reuniting in the near future following claims they recently met up.

"[Robert Pattinson's friends] think they'll be a couple again," an insider told People. "Moving on is easier said than done... and clearly harder than expected."

The Hollywood stars had a very public split earlier this year following Kristen's confession that she had an affair with married director Rupert Sanders. Since this revelation the pair have moved out of the home they shared together. While both have stepped out separately since the scandal broke, they haven't crossed paths publically.

Kristen made her first public appearance at the premiere for her movie On the Road at the Toronto Film Festival.

She has spoken about being reunited with Robert on a professional level when they promote the upcoming final Twilight movie Breaking Dawn - Part 2. There has been speculation she and Robert might have trouble working together, but she isn't nervous.

"We're going to be fine," she was quoted as saying. "We're totally fine."
