Tributes to Robin Gibb have continued with Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick and Ringo Starr sending their condolences.
The Bee Gees singer died yesterday aged 62. He had battled cancer for some time and a host of stars have revealed the influence his music had on them.
Stevie, who collected the Billboard Icon Award yesterday, is confident Robin's work will continue to inspire people for years to come.
"We lose people every day. The thing about losing singers [is that] we have their voices, we have their talent and [their legacy] is going to last beyond our lifetime," he told ET.
Beatles legend Ringo Starr paid tribute to Robin, revealing he was influenced by his group's hits.
"Robin will be remembered as a musician and as a singer and part of The Bee Gees," he explained. "The legacy they'll leave behind is Staying Alive, the harmonies and just the songs that they've written."
Motown star Gladys Knight fondly remembered Robin as "very talented and family-orientated". She also recalled his generosity and kindness.
Lisa Marie Presley wishes more of the world's greatest music stars were celebrated before their death.
"I think that people should be a little more honoured before they go," she explained to ET. "It's incredible once they're gone to [tribute them] but a lot of times they don't know. It gets to a point where we don't always give them what they need... It's sad that it has to happen afterwards."
Dionne, whose hit Heartbreaker was written by The Bee Gees, had been impressed by Robin's down-to-earth and fun loving nature.
"He was wonderful. He was a jokester. He had an incredibly witty sense of humour and was fun to be around. All three of them were sensational gentlemen first, just fun loving guys," she is quoted as saying by the BBC. "What was most attractive to me was how grounded they were. I think a lot of it has to do with their sense of family and being together as a family.
"They loved each other very strongly and showed it, and it was a joy to be around it."
Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks also revealed her sadness at the death of another music icon this year.
"RIP Robin Gibb. The soundtrack of my wonder years is vaporising one artist at a time with these iconic musical losses lately," she said.
