Rochelle Humes: I’m not stealing Schofe’s spotlight!
Rochelle Humes promises it's not her aim to become the next Phillip Schofield.
The Saturdays singer is slowly becoming more known for her presenting skills than her music, with slots on This Morning alongside husband Marvin, Ninja Warrior and The Xtra Factor.
But in a new interview with British newspaper Metro she promised she wasn't trying to ensure she's on TV more often than fellow This Morning host Phillip.
"No that's not the plan - I'm just having a good time and I've been very lucky to get some amazing jobs that I really enjoy," she grinned to the publication.
"I've always been an avid fan of X Factor. With Ninja Warrior, I saw the foreign formats and loved it. We didn't know how it would be received but it's been such a big hit. I'm chuffed."
While game show Ninja Warrior is all about having fun, This Morning can present Rochelle, 26, with some more serious subject matters. Luckily the stunning star is coping just fine.
"There are so many gear changes on that show - you can go from cooking to a debate about whether or not women should have hairy legs, to talking to people about something really serious that's happened to them," she admitted. "It's so broad and that's what's amazing about it. It covers so much ground and really works. We're only there during the holidays but it's such a nice vibe there."
Phillip and Holly Willoughby usually present ITV's This Morning from Monday to Thursday, with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes taking over on Fridays. During the British school holidays, Ruth and Eamonn take the Monday to Thursday slot, while Rochelle and Marvin present on Fridays.
