Rock Of Ages is closing in November after more than two years in the West End to go on a UK tour.

The heavy metal musical, which has featured a cast including X Factor winner Shayne Ward and Justin Lee Collins, opened at the Shaftesbury Theatre before moving to the Garrick Theatre.

Real-life rocker Alice Cooper made a surprise appearance in the show last year to mark the 40th anniversary of his hit single School's Out topping the chart in the UK.

A film version of the show, about a budding rock singer in 1980s' Los Angeles, came out last year starring Tom Cruise and Russell Brand.

If someone does criticise your work, remain silent. These remarks may be terribly unfair, but defending yourself will only make the situation worse. Breathe deep. This, too, shall pass.More
