Rodriguez: I’m a lone wolf

Michelle Rodriguez insists she has no intention of having children any time soon, because she considers herself a “lone wolf”.

The 36-year-old actress has enjoyed romances with model Cara Delevingne and actor Zac Efron over the past year.

But Michelle admits the reason the couplings haven’t worked out is because she’s something of a “lone wolf”.

And Michelle added in the chat with Interview magazine that her preference to be alone means she won’t be adding to her life with a child any time soon.

Asked about her intention to start a family, Michelle replied: “Come on. Look at me! I have absolutely nothing consistent in my life. But that’s where serendipity comes in and I love that.

“One day I’m going to have to sacrifice that to bring life into the world. But the more I can hold off on that, the happier I’ll be. It’s scary for me. I’m a lone wolf. I run by myself on most things.

“I’ve got lots of really great friends, but the thought of being in a long-lasting relationship? Psh, I couldn’t last more than six months with somebody, let alone have a father figure around for a kid. I mean, if I could give a kid a father figure, that would be amazing.”

Michelle first shot to fame in the movie Girlfight in 2000. Since then, she has made a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in films such as The Fast and the Furious and Resident Evil.

But while Michelle has become a world-famous star, she admits she isn’t keen on the lifestyle that comes with being a celebrity.

“I enjoy vanity like the best of them,” Michelle said. “But I can’t stick to any of that lifestyle for too long because, when its true colours come out, it’s empty and cold and soulless.”

Michelle can next be seen in the latest instalment in The Fast and the Furious franchise: Furious 7. But the actress told Interview that when it comes to choosing the films she stars in, she finds it tough to pick.

“I’m a picky little b***h,” Michelle said. “I hate everything. I say no to everything. That’s my problem.”
