Romance over for Longoria and Cruz
Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz have split up, according to reports.
Various sources have "confirmed" to US outlets that the Desperate Housewives star and the Spanish singer - the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz - have decided to call it quits after a year of dating.
"It was a mutual decision. They are staying friends," a source told Us Weekly.
The insider added that Eva has her TV show to keep her distracted: "She's focusing on work and the end of Desperate Housewives."
The couple, who were introduced at a party by Eduardo's sister Penelope, were first spotted looking cosy while watching a performance by a flamenco group.
They were seen spending more time together after Eva's divorce from basketball star Tony Parker was finalised in January 2011.
The 36-year-old actress, who is ten years older than Eduardo, recently told Spanish Vanity Fair that she was "very lucky" to have found him.
But she previously told Us Weekly that she had her doubts about remarrying, saying: "I don't know. Ask a woman after divorce if she's gonna get married, you won't get an honest answer."
