Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wants selfless mother role

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley thinks motherhood will be a good antidote to her "self-indulgent" career.

The model-and-actress has been dating Hollywood star Jason Statham for over two years. While the 25-year-old isn't thinking about having a family just yet, in ten years' time she can imagine herself balancing work commitments with a growing brood.

"I always see myself working, but definitely being a mum will be a big part of me. Look, I think my career is very self-indulgent. It's all about me. I'm not a doctor, I'm not looking after people, I'm not saving children," she told the latest edition of UK magazine Elle. "I'm in the entertainment business. I'm a model. I'm an actress. So it is very self-involved and I think there is naturally a point where you think, 'I don't care about myself as a number one anymore.' I want to care about other things."

Rosie and Jason are famously tight-lipped about their relationship and she has tried to describe why. While she knows their jobs mean people are interested in them, she doesn't want to live every aspect of her life in the public eye.

"I don't think you enter a relationship and stay in a relationship with somebody for two-and-a-half years if you don't love [them] and don't see a future with [them], but we're very private and our relationship is the most sacred thing in our lives, so I don't want to trivialise it or allow it to become other people's. I'm very selfish about that," she said.

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
