Beyonce is adjusting so well to motherhood that her Destiny's Child bandmates describe her as a "natural".

The 30-year-old, who welcomed baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter on January 7, has already taken to her new-found status with rapper husband Jay-Z, according to Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

"She was born to be a mother. She's wonderful," Kelly told People.com.

"She's doing fabulous," Michelle said of the new mum, adding to USA Today: "She [Blue] is absolutely gorgeous. We were all in love."

The superstar couple and their new addition have not yet been photographed since the much-reported birth took place in a private "executive suite" at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, two weekends ago.

But Beyonce and Jay-Z, 42, "have already settled into their role of being parents, and it's just awesome to see," the singer added.

Michelle admitted that the ladies of Destiny's Child never thought their frontwoman would be the first to become a mum.

"We were very shocked. We were laughing with each other the other day and she was like, 'Can y'all believe it? I was the anti - like no children for me,' and she's the first one. So it was so amazing to see her," she revealed.
