Russell Brand reportedly partook in an intense short love affair with Kate Peck.
The British comedian met the Australian model and presenter at the ARIA Music Awards in Sydney at the end of November.
The couple were seen flirting with each other several times at the Park Hyatt hotel.
Apparently Russell, who has been in several relationships this year following his divorce from American singer Katy Perry, didn't want the public to catch wind of his romance with Kate.
"They've been enjoying quite a passionate fling, mostly at the swanky Park Hyatt," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"They've seen each other a few times. Kate likes his cheekiness, he's definitely her type. Unlike former girlfriends, Russell wanted to keep it all top secret.
"Even though he's left Sydney, they're still in contact."
Russell has been with 14 women since his divorce from Katy in December 2011.
His most high-profile recent fling has been with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.
