Russell Brand has been spotted in Los Angeles, handing out sweet treats and drinks to some homeless people.
The actor, whose latest film Arthur has been panned by US critics, was seen out and about in LA with carrier bags of ice cream, fizzy drinks and snacks, which he handed out to some rough sleepers.
He chatted to them for about an hour, the Daily Star reports, with one of them commenting later: "He's wild."
The comedian, who is married to popstrel Katy Perry, also tweeted about wanting to do a few "low fi" stand-up gigs in the city.
He wrote: "Where can I do stand up in LA please? A bit folky and lo fi where food is not served and people are gentle? Much love."
