Ryan Gosling breaks up street fight

Ryan Gosling was spotted breaking up a street fight

Ryan Gosling turned himself into a real-life superhero by breaking up a street scuffle.

The Notebook star, who plays a "self-appointed superhero" in Drive, tested out his powers on the busy streets of New York, when he intervened in a fight, reported E! Online.

In a video posted online, Ryan is seen putting down his shopping bags and stepping in between two men, who were arguing over a painting in St Mark's Place, as bystanders stood by. He physically restrained one of the men and helped to diffuse the situation.

There were squeals of: "It's that guy from The Notebook!" as pedestrians realised who the famous Good Samaritan was.

Ryan, who next appears in Crazy Stupid Love alongside Steve Carell and Julianne Moore and George Clooney's The Ides Of March, has been spending his time in the city, filming The Place Beyond The Pines.

Gemini:

Someone will steal credit for your work, which is maddening. Drawing attention to the problem will only make you look petty. You're better off accepting the situation with quiet dignity and grace. Move on to the next assignment, but make sure to sign your name to every piece of work that is submitted. Tell your boss what you are doing on a regular basis. You'll sound like a pest, but at least it's better than getting stabbed in the back.More
