Rylan Clark-Neal's fatherhood ambitions
Rylan Clark-Neal jokes he'll be calling Emma Willis "fatty" when she starts to get bigger in her pregnancy.
Rylan Clark-Neal has his sights set on fatherhood.
The former X Factor star has carved out a successful TV career after getting the boot on the singing show in 2012.
He married fellow reality TV star Dan Neal, who appeared on Big Brother, in November (15) after dating for two years. Rylan admits the happy couple would definitely like a family, but concedes the process isn’t as easy as just wanting it.
“It’s definitely something I want to do, but it might be that it’s just not that easy for us,” Rylan, 27, told the Metro newspaper. “It will be a case of deciding how we would do it. I’m sure it’ll happen in good time.”
Rylan has been back on TV screens since the start of the year (16), hosting Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. He was praised for his recent grilling of former UKIP candidate Winston McKenzie after he was kicked out of the Big Brother House. Winston had angered Rylan with comments that he had made comparing gay adoption to child abuse.
The CBB gig isn’t always so heavy though, and Rylan loves working with Emma Willis, who fronts the main show. Emma and her husband, Busted star Matt Willis, are currently expecting baby number three, and Rylan reveals he will definitely be on hand to help with the tot.
“I’m sure I’ll be calling her fatty over the next couple of months to wind her up,” he laughed, adding: “I’ve ordered a playpen for my dressing room for babysitting duties.”
The 2016 Celebrity Big Brother house has been full of controversial moments, with Megan McKenna the latest housemate to cause a stir. The reality star shocked viewers when she launched into venomous rant at fellow housemate Tiffany Pollard on Thursday’s (14Jan16) show. Megan’s offensive comments included calling Tiffany a “a ghetto ****” and TV bosses were forced march security into the house to restrain her. Megan has now been issued a formal warning and told that if she repeats the bad behaviour, she'll be removed from the programme.
