Salma Hayek 'shocked' by Lively

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek was "shocked" that Blake Lively still had "fight in her" despite her long working hours.

The two actresses star alongside each other in the Oliver Stone-directed movie Savages. Blake is famed for her role in hit TV show Gossip Girl, which she was filming at the same time the movie was shooting.

Salma was impressed by the star's unwavering enthusiasm.

"She was so professional. It was shocking!" she exclaimed in an interview with screencave.com. "She wouldn't whine. I was like, 'My God, she's like the perfect woman!' She would show up and still have a fight in her. She did such a good job with every take. It was really moving to see not a day off."

Blake has explained how she balances her career. The 24-year-old star says coping with the relentless filming schedule for both roles took its toll.

"This was actually the hardest because normally, we have about a two-month break from Gossip Girl every year and that's when I do a movie. But this one started exactly when the Gossip Girl season started, so for four months I was flying back and forth between New York and L.A. I shot seven-day weeks and I was going from red-eyes to set," she explained.

"That was a hard balance. That wasn't a balance. That was just a landslide."

Scorpio:

You have to make some personal sacrifices to achieve career success. If you're going to lead a team to victory, you will have to be hard on the less industrious members of the group. As a result, you won't be terribly popular. Many will complain about your methods, but nobody can argue with the results of your work. You know how to get the best performance from the people around you. That's a rare quality that should be championed. You should be gentler with people in your private life.More
