Samantha Fox 'signs six figure deal for Celebrity Big Brother'
Legendary glamour model Samantha Fox has reportedly finally agreed to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, after years of being courted by show bosses.
Samantha Fox is reportedly set to take part in this year's Celebrity Big Brother.
The 50-year-old star is most known for her topless modelling and a successful singing career, which saw her earn a BRIT Award nomination in 1988.
After years of being courted by bosses of the show, now broadcast on Channel 5, Samantha is said to have finally been wooed by a six figure deal to enter the house for the next series.
"Every year Sam’s name is bandied around in ideas meetings and every year they try hard to get her but she turns it down," a source told The Sun newspaper. "But they’ve finally managed to tempt her on board for the new series.
"She’s never lost her earning power even more than 30 years since her Page 3 debut but anyone would struggle to turn down hundreds of thousands."
It won't be the first reality show Samantha has taken part in - she competed on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2009 before following that the next year with an appearance on Celebrity Come Dine With Me, alongside Calum Best, Jeff Brazier and Jeff Dickinson.
Her personal life has also seen her hit headlines - she came out as gay in 2003 and started dating her manager Myra Stratton. However, Stratton died in August 2015 after a battle with cancer.
Samantha is expected to take part in Celebrity Big Brother alongside former The X Factor contestant Katie Waissel, Absolutely Fabulous actress Helen Lederer and pantomime star Christopher Biggins.
Other stars linked to the new series include Tulisa, Lil' Kim and Anthea Turner's ex Grant Bovey.
The upcoming series will launch at 9pm on 28 July (16), and will be hosted by Emma Willis. Rylan Clark-Neal will once again present spin-off Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
