Sandra Bullock ‘helping Jennifer Aniston’s adoption journey’
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are said to see Sandra Bullock as a “huge support” as they try to adopt.
Sandra Bullock is reportedly “guiding” Jennifer Aniston through the adoption process.
The Miss Congeniality actress has two adopted kids, son Louis, five, and daughter Laila, three, who she became a mother to last year (15). There are reports that Jennifer, 46, and her husband Justin Theroux are looking to have a family through the same means, so they’ve turned to close pal Sandra’s expert knowledge.
“Sandra’s been guiding Jen and Justin through the adoption process and helping them get over many of the hurdles they’ve faced already,” an insider told Britain’s Closer magazine. “She has been a huge support to them.
“Jen had come to terms with the fact that having children may not happen for her, but now it’s finally happening, she can’t wait to finally become a mother.”
Jennifer’s love life has been in the spotlight for some time now, with many questioning why she has yet to have children. While she’s managed to ignore the curiosity most of the time, the Friends star has hit back at reports on several occasions in the past.
Talking to Allure magazine in January 2015, before she and Justin tied the knot in August that year, Jennifer shared her concern about how women are treated.
"I don't like (the pressure) that people put on me, on women - that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated. I don't think it's fair," she sighed. "You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean you aren't mothering - dogs, friends, friends' children. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don't want to be a mother, and how selfish that is."
