Sandra Bullock in Gervais comedy
Thursday, 7 July 2011
The Daily Mirror said the Oscar winner will be arriving in Britain this month to film scenes for Life's Too Short, a "mockumentary" which stars Warwick Davis as an ego-maniac dwarf running an agency for short people.
A source said: "Just having an Oscar winner alongside Cheggers, Les and Shaun is hilarious. It just goes to show the sort of pull Ricky Gervais has."
Ricky has created BBC show Life's Too Short with his writing partner Stephen Merchant.
Sandra, who won her best actress Oscar for The Blind Side, was the butt of Ricky's jokes when he presented the Golden Globes this year.
During the ceremony he joked that she once told him "poor people were gross and smelled bad".
It's previously been announced that Johnny Depp will have a cameo role in the BBC Two sitcom, which will also be broadcast on HBO in the US and is described as a cross between Curb Your Enthusiasm and Extras.
Shaun - who played Barry in EastEnders - Keith and Les all previously starred in Extras.
