Sandra Bullock movie 'halted by stabbing'
One man was killed and another two people injured just metres from Sandra Bullock's latest film set in Boston.
The Oscar-winning actress is currently shooting police comedy The Heat and an officer working on the set assisted in chasing a man suspected of the fatal stabbing.
The victims were all male and believed to be aged between 17 and 21. The stabbing allegedly took place yesterday following an argument that spilled out into a parking lot, just a block away from the movie set.
Work stopped on the film for a short time while police attempted to seize the suspect and assist the wounded.
"The director took the bullhorn and called everyone together," revealed onlooker Cara Lisa Berg Powers. "He said three people were stabbed and one of them had died. People were stunned and then the crowd broke up.'
This incident comes after a city bus crashed into a parked truck involved with the movie on Monday. Around 15 people on the bus were treated for minor injuries.
Production crew insist the set is "secure" and they have no plans to increase safety measures.
The Heat - also starring Melissa McCarthy - sees Sandra play an uptight cop who forms an alliance with an FBI agent to capture a mob boss.
