Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr are "thrilled" with their newborn son.
The couple welcomed their second child earlier this week. Sarah, 35, and Freddie, 36, are also parents to three-year-old daughter Charlotte Grace.
The family is happy to report that both mother and child are in perfect health.
"Sarah Michelle and Freddie Prinze, Jr are thrilled to announce that they welcomed a baby son into the world this past week," Sarah and Freddie's representatives told Us Weekly.
"Mother and baby are doing great. And Charlotte is VERY excited to be a big sister."
The couple, who celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary September 1, are apparently still deeply in love with one another.
A friend of Sarah and Freddie is in awe of the strength of their union.
"She and Freddie are thrilled. They're amazing parents," the source revealed to the publication.
"They still have date nights all the time and have a normal life. They both came of age in Hollywood and love working, but their home life is more important to them."
