Scandal gets new Friend in Kudrow
Lisa Kudrow is joining the cast of Scandal.
The Friends star has signed up to play a recurring character in the political drama starring Kerry Washington, Deadline reported.
It is not known what Lisa's role will be but sources say she will be a politician.
Scandal also stars Lisa's long-time producing partner Dan Bucatinsky, who received an Emmy nomination for his recurring role as James Novak, Cyrus Beene's (Jeff Perry) long-suffering husband.
Lisa is most famous for playing hippy chick Phoebe Buffay for 10 years in Friends, a role she reprised in spin-off show Joey which ran for two years after Friends ended in 2004.
The actress then starred in cult HBO comedy The Comeback, and has since been focused on producing, and making her online-turned-TV improv show Web Therapy.
