Scarlett Johansson has been spotted "holding hands" with a mystery man over dinner.
The actress was seen enjoying a romantic meal with an unidentified male at New York City eatery Beatrice Inn and looked smitten, according to onlookers.
The blonde bombshell has been single since splitting from advertising executive Nate Naylor last month.
"They were very lovey-dovey and holding hands under the table all night," a witness told the NY Post. "They were holding each other while outside smoking in the cold."
Scarlett's new beau was described as a tall, dark hunk.
Of course, the beautiful Hitchcock star has the pick of handsome men everywhere and has in the past been romantically involved with ex-husband Ryan Reynolds, Jared Leto and Josh Hartnett.
"[The mystery man was] dark-haired and slightly taller than her but skinny," the onlooker described Scarlett's date. "He may have been speaking French at one point."
Meanwhile, the stunning actress returned to the limelight yesterday when she attended the Hitchcock premiere in New York.
The star plays Janet Leigh in the movie, which explores the life and marriage of the famous filmmaker.
Scarlett dazzled on the red carpet in a figure-hugging Rodarte dress and fierce black Gucci heels.
