Scarlett’s post-baby gym plan
Scarlett Johansson worked out for two hours a day in order to regain her pre-pregnancy figure, it has been claimed.
The 29-year-old actress gave birth to daughter Rose, her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, just two months ago.
And when she stepped out for the first time since the birth on Monday night, she stunned with her slender post-pregnancy figure.
Scarlett showed off her slim frame in an eye-catching patterned dress as she posed with pal Eddie Redmayne at a screening of his movie Theory of Everything.
Now it has been revealed that Scarlett’s post-baby body is down to a rigorous diet and exercise regime.
According to a source close to the actress, Scarlett hit the gym for two hours per day in order to shed the excess pounds.
The insider said that Scarlett has been attending yogalates classes twice a week, as well as doing cardio and kettle bell work in the gym.
And the actress is allegedly thrilled at how well she has responded to the workouts.
“Her body’s bounced back into shape faster than she’d expected,” the source told America’s OK! Magazine. “She looks and feels amazing!”
Scarlett has also been watching what she eats, according to reports. In addition to following a healthy diet, she reportedly aims to include at least one superfood with each meal.
“She has a superfood with every meal, so it’s blueberries, oats, broccoli, pumpkin, salmon, soy, spinach, walnuts, yogurt and green tea,” the source added.
Scarlett and French journalist Romain got engaged last year, with the pregnancy news breaking in March.
The Avengers star recently spoke about the massive changes she is experiencing in her family life
“I’m very happy. Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and really savour,” she told People magazine.
A spokesperson for the Oscar-nominated beauty said around the time of the engagement the couple were “very happy”, but declined to offer further details about their plans to say “I do”.
"They haven't chosen a date for the wedding,” the rep said previously.
