Scherzinger's 'seven day' X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger has said that being an X Factor judge is a full-time job.

The former Pussycat Doll told Metro that she put her all into coaching Tamera Foster, 16, Hannah Barrett, 17, and Abi Alton, 20.

"This is a seven-day-a-week job. I work on every single thing with my girls. I'm so grateful I'm mentoring them because I am a girl. I get it," she said.

"I work from the inside out, from the emotions and the head space. I want to build their confidence and their courage. I want them to find the best in themselves and then we work on the song and being true to the music."

Nicole said she urged her contestants to "stay true to who they are" and added: "Then I'll get technical - changing the notes, the harmonies, changing the music and accompaniment. Everything."

Last weekend saw girl group Miss Dynamix getting booted out of the show after the judges saved teenager Hannah.

But Simon Cowell later tweeted: "I would've kept Miss Dynamix. I don't get that decision."
