Music manager Scooter Braun says Psy's success is "mind blowing".
The South Korean singer shot to the top of the charts with YouTube sensation Gangnam Style and has now followed it up with hit single Gentleman.
The rapper is signed to Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, on the Schoolboy Records label.
Scooter is behind the popstar every step of the way and is already impressed with how well his new tune is going down.
"It went like number one in like 52 countries, so it was kind of mind-blowing for us. But he's just fun," Scooter smiled to MTV News.
"And I think he's coming to the States end of this week to start performing it on TV, and around the world. And he represents having a good time, so good for him."
Gangnam Style was a worldwide phenomenon, with the YouTube video currently at around 1.5 billion hits.
Gentleman hasn't quite caught up, but while his first clip took over a month to gather 100 million views, his second has managed to reach twice that despite only being released on April 12.
Psy admitted to being nervous about following up his first smash hit.
“The next one is like [a] nightmare. What if they don't like [the] next one?” he previously pondered.
“This time I’ve gotta do it on purpose. Last time was not on purpose, and sometimes on purpose is better. I’m done with the new song, I’ve got it in my pocket but I’m not sure if it’s gonna be a worldwide hit. It hasn’t got a name yet.”
