Seal was pictured wearing his wedding band yesterday hours after his separation from Heidi Klum was announced.
The British pop singer visited a recording studio in Los Angeles with his ring still prominently placed on his left hand.
The 48-year-old looked solemn but seemed focused on work as he continues the promotional tour for his new album Soul 2 that is released in the US this week.
Seal and Heidi's shock announcement came yesterday and they said in their statement that they had split because they had "grown apart".
The couple are parents to Leni, seven, from Heidi's previous relationship, Henry, six, Johan, five, and two-year-old daughter Lou.
TMZ had reported that Heidi, 38, became worried about Seal's "inability to control his temper" and it was also claimed she was tired of his "hard partying".
