The Come & Get It singer posted black and white clips to her stories on the social media site on Friday (03Feb17), with the camera zooming in on her face while she sang along to what sounds like a new song.
Fans of the 24-year-old former Disney star speculated the unknown track in the clips is called It Ain't Me, which was reportedly registered with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) earlier this week (beg30Jan17).
It Ain't Me also features Norwegian DJ, record producer, songwriter and musician Kygo as a co-writer.
Selena followed up her posts on Instagram Stories with a black and white shot of herself sat in a chair, and tagged Kygo in the photo.
The possibility of new music from Selena comes after she made her relationship with The Weeknd official on her social media. The singer shared a video of Starboy hitmaker sitting in the back of a boat during a canal ride in Florence, Italy, on Monday (30Jan17). In the black and white clip, he is wearing sunglasses, a camouflage hoodie over his head and a denim jacket.
The Instagram post, which has since been deleted, was accompanied by a simple emoji face with love heart eyes.
The couple were pictured kissing and cuddling during their romantic getaway to Florence, and were spotted sightseeing, shopping and dining in the city's Piazza Santo Spirito.
The young lovers then reportedly moved onto Venice, as local fans took to Twitter to post selfies taken with the singer and confirmed she was travelling with The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye.
