Seth MacFarlane to host SNL show

Seth MacFarlane will guest host Saturday Night Live

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is set to host an episode of Saturday Night Live.

US network NBC has announced that the funnyman will present the first show of the season on September 18, with R 'n' B singer-songwriter Frank Ocean as musical guest.

Future guest hosts on Saturday Night Live this autumn include The Dark Knight Rises star Joseph Gordon-Levitt and James Bond heartthrob Daniel Craig.

Seth, who serves as writer, producer and voice artist on Family Guy, recently directed his first feature film, Ted, and furnished the voice for its teddy-bear title character.
