Seth Rogen: Wife writes dirty movies
Seth Rogen admits his wife's comedy writing can be too "dirty" for him at times.
The comedian is married to actress-and-screenwriter Lauren Miller, who co-wrote last year's movie For a Good Time, Call... about a pair of students who start a phone sex line to raise some cash.
Seth appeared in the film and admitted that while his wife shares his wicked sense of humour, there were parts of it that made him blush.
"She is pretty funny and her movie is pretty dirty," Seth laughed to the UK edition of Marie Claire magazine. "There is some sh*t in her film that even I wince at."
It was their shared interest in comedy that brought them together in 2004. The couple married in 2011, but they have no plans for children just yet.
"She was into comedy and we both wanted to be writers and were both into the same stuff," he continued. "A lot of our friends are impregnating each other, but we're not in any hurry to do that right now."
The 31-year-old Canadian has generated mega bucks for his smash-hit funny flicks such as Superbad and Pineapple Express. His ability to make money from laughs began on Vancouver's stand-up circuit, which proved so fruitful that by the age of 16, Seth had already become his family's main breadwinner.
"I was maybe 19 or 20 years old when my father told me I had already made more money than he had in his entire life," he added. "Which wasn't that much, I should say. They were happy. They're very free-flowing people. We didn't grow up with a lot of money, but we weren't a family that put a lot of value on it, either. It goes either way when you don't grow up with money - you either desperately want it and your life is ruled by the pursuit of it, or you learn that you can have a happy and meaningful life without it. I fell on that side."
