Seymour happy with signs of ageing

Jane Seymour says facelifts aren't for her

Jane Seymour has said she won't be following in the footsteps of her US neighbours by getting work done on her face.

The former Bond girl, 62, lives in Malibu, but is in Britain filming an adaptation of a Rosamunde Pilcher novel, Unknown Heart.

She dismissed the Hollywood tendency to banish any sign of ageing, saying: "Where I live I'm the only person in my age group in my circle who hasn't had a facelift. I keep seeing people who just don't look like themselves any more!

"I've definitely got my frowns and wrinkles to whatever degree, but because I'm an actress who wants to be able to play a range of roles, I need to be able to move my face, and I think they give it character. Also, believe it or not I'm really not that vain!"

Jane admitted going through "difficult times" after announcing her separation from her fourth husband in April.

The actress's announcement, after 20 years of marriage to actor and director James Keach, followed reported allegations of his infidelity.

She said: "Everyone has difficult times and I'm kind of living through that."

But she added: "My mother was a great inspiration to me and she always told me when times are tough there's no point closing yourself off.

"Instead you have to accept what's happened, live in the moment, and reach out to help someone else. If you don't think of yourself but think of others you will heal and love and a purpose will come into your life again."

Sagittarius:

Beware of spending beyond your means. Sticking to a budget will help you survive the festive season relatively unscathed. It will be easier than you think to let your grip on the purse strings slip especially as the big day draws near. Let Christmas be about loving, sharing and giving. Spend quality time preparing food, making decorations and playing games together. If you haven't sent all your cards or round robin emails give some thought about what you will be sharing with others this year.More
