Sharon: No more Osbournes TV show

Sharon Osbourne has said she won't be reprising her family's hit reality show - despite husband Ozzy wanting to do so.

The Black Sabbath frontman has said that he "wouldn't mind maybe doing one episode" of the MTV show that propelled the family to fame.

But Sharon, speaking at the Glamour Women Of The Year awards, said that the TV series, which finished almost 10 years ago, wasn't something she'd consider returning to.

The X Factor judge, who was presenting an award at the event, said there was no way she'd be resurrecting the fly-on-the-wall show, which has spawned several imitations.

"No definitely not," she said.

"It was nice to be the first but we're not going backwards."

She added of The Osbournes, which propelled the couple's children Jack and Kelly to fame : "I think Ozzy would like to do it because it's about being with the family, when we did it the family were always together."

Jack has since had a family of his own, and Kelly left the nest to live in a swanky home while launching her own TV career.

Sharon also insisted that there was no prospect of returning to The X Factor following her stint last year.

"That's done," she said.

Ozzy previously told Q magazine: "I wouldn't mind maybe doing one episode; The Osbournes now, what's happened to us all, that kind of thing, but I don't know that we'd want to do a full series."

The star, who temporarily separated from Sharon last year because of his drinking, said that his wife would have the final say.
